Hi friends! How was everyone’s June? This month, or even this year, has been a doozy. Can you relate? I did manage to enjoy a small amount of retail therapy, found new Spotify playlists worth sharing, and a new App that has changed my social media game. Keep reading to see the 5 things I am loving this month.

The Drop Women’s Listilla Espadrille Flatform Ankle Strap Sandal
These sandals are too dang cute. I saw them first on Caralyn Mirand’s Instagram page (genuinely love her style) and fell in love with the color. I have been searching for espadrilles and could only find styles that look like platform heels. These sandals are a comfortable 2.25″ and the straps give a little. I ordered my true size 8 and they fit perfectly.
Check out Jumprope, a free app that lets you create and share short tutorials as video. I was on the hunt to find an effective way to film and share my recipes as video clips for social, and Jumprope delivers on all fronts. I can easily share videos to my Pinterest page and Instagram story, all on my phone. Want to see how Jumprope works? Check out my Jumprope profile page https://www.jumprope.com/mandbeeblog
New Spotify Playlists
This isn’t really a new find, but I have been listening to Instrumental Pop Covers playlist over and over again. I started to use this for background noise when working from home at the start of quarantine. This past blog post is where I introduced it first, with other playlists I have been loving lately. Check it out for easy listening!
Leaning In To an Old Hobby
Many might not know this as I haven’t shared it here yet, but I love creating digital illustrations on my iPad. It calms me down and gives me focus when I need it most. I have started a new “Thank You” series for my Instagram followers every month, with a new freebie watercolor wallpaper for your phone. Check the latest freebie here instagram.com/mandbeegram

On the Healthier Side

I shared earlier this month a new low carb recipe with Chicken Sausage and Eggplant Lasagna, that was so flavorful and filling I surprised myself. It has become a fun game for me learning all the ways I can sneak in veggies to a dish, tricking everyone into thinking I made this rich and hearty meal. Anyone have any tricks that work for them in this department? My next recipe try will be tomato soup cake. I heard it tastes just like carrot cake, but made with a whole can of tomato soup!
Thanks for sticking around as I share my 5 things I am loving in June. Can’t wait to see what July will bring!
