I am a true 90’s kid and grew up on lunchables (the best!) which I feel has 100% fueled my love for grazing boards. They are like adult lunchables ya’ know? Keep reading for easy grazing board ideas and tips on how to make your grazing board a party hit!
Pick your platter
Picking out the board is just as fun and assembling the goods IMO. Unfortunately my cheese board pictured has long been discontinued, but I will link similar cheese boards here and here.
If you are in a pinch and do not have a board handy, baking sheets, cutting boards, or any other tray you have will do. If you are worried about your tray’s surface, put down some wax or parchment paper to create a layer of protection.
Bowls for dips
Adding small ramekins or dipping bowls to your board is an easy way to break up the clutter and create clear lines separating food types you want to keep away from each other. They also create some dimension to an otherwise flat display. I am using a Pioneer Woman measuring cup (the smallest one in the set) for my ranch dipping sauce.
Dips to try
- Ranch dressing
- Red pepper hummus
- Lemon dill hummus (Wegmans has the best one!)
Cheese is life
You can never have too much cheese for crying out loud. The limit DOES NOT exist. I enjoy my cheese in bite sized pieces and love gouda and pepper jack for a little kick. Mini Babybel would be a good mix as well as Trader Joe’s mini brie bites.
Mix it up and have fun with your combinations!
