Run, don’t walk to Dollar Tree if you have one near you, this news is too good not to share. I have been more than pleased with Dollar Tree’s holiday decor selection these past few years and collect more and more ornaments every time I visit. I specifically go for their ornaments and always walk away with something for my tree. Dollar Tree does a great job offering traditional, rustic, or elegant themed ornaments and this year is no different. I walked away with my biggest haul yet and everything is just $1 at DollarTree.com!
Sharing on the blog today my most recent Dollar Tree haul and how I decorate my woodland theme Christmas tree.

I have kept the same Christmas tree theme every year I have put one up and will hopefully in the future venture out of my comfort zone once I have the room for a new tree. At the moment, I love the look of a woodland theme tree and the thrill of adding new pieces to the tree each year.
Side note: The 6ft artificial tree is from Lidl (3 + years old) and about 25% of the ornaments (all woodland animals) have been sourced from Hobby Lobby, Cracker Barrel, or a craft show called the Bizarre Bazar over the years.

I was so excited to find these Red and Black Buffalo Check Bows as I didn’t own anything like this in my collection and would be a perfect fit for my theme. I went ahead and also grabbed these large Burlap Bows, very similar to the small burlap bows I snagged last year (also on the tree).
I also started to notice my tree was leaning more towards champagne and golds, and I wanted to add a little more red into the mix. These Glitter Poinsettia Ornament Clips and Metal Poinsettia Clips were the perfect solution as you can pop them on anywhere and are easy to fasten.
I was able to snag an update of my favorite White Bell Ornament from previous years and opted for the new Gold Glitter Bell. It feels hefty and not at all a $1.
Rounding out my haul was two new feathered friends a Christmas Owl and 2 pack Cardinal Ornaments.
