Do you have a go-to lip color? I am a neutral lip kind of gal and am always looking for the perfect everyday color that won’t break the bank. After hearing rave reviews about the new Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick, I picked up a few colors I usually gravitate toward and tested them for myself.

Lipstick Swatches (Glazed Mauve, Rum Raisin, Love is on)

On to the review

I was on the hunt for a new everyday lip as my beloved Essence nude lipstick is no longer and I haven’t found anything similar since. What I liked most about the previous favorite was the mauve color, number one, and number two, the creamy balm formula. The color perfectly suited my skin tone and was my go-to every single day. I have never been a fan of thick, opaque lipsticks and favor ones that are more sheer and moisturizing. I wanted to find an exact match and didn’t think there was any hope in finding one.

Cue my new favorite lip product! “Glass shine” is in the name for a reason, the formula is so creamy and shiny. The formula feels like a lip balm and lipgloss in one, with decent color pay off. I do need to reapply often, as I do with a lip balm, but it doesn’t bother me all that much.

Side note: After your first use you will notice the bullet begins to melt a little and if you often twist the case, the product will build up at the sides and overflow.

Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick can be found at any drugstore or online shop where Revlon is sold. I found many color options on Amazon, including the three colors I tested [Glazed Mauve, Rum Raisin, Love is on].
