Sharing my current Summer makeup routine that stands up in the humid Virginia heat, and looks super fresh and glowing.

Summer Makeup Routine

I tend to stick to cream products in the Summer and powder in the fall. I have been really impressed with Nudestix cream products recently and every product I have used has performed exactly as described. My go-to bronze+blush combo is cream sticks Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color in Bondi Bae and Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color in Beach Babe. Gives the perfect pop of color and a natural sun-kissed glow.

I usually gravitate toward cream products that dry down fast after application, letting me know the product will have ample staying power when I sweat. I recommend a duo-fiber brush or stiff beauty blender to blend cream face products and fingers for cream eyeshadow sticks. I recommend Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Color cream sticks in Nudity and Smoke for all over eye looks or blended out at the lash line to create a quick smokey eye. Check out my blog post comparing luxe vs. inexpensive eye cream sticks if you want a luxe vs. inexpensive comparison.

For no-budging foundation, I have not been able to put down the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 30 in light. When I say less is more with this product, it is the truth! I use a pea size amount that erases imperfections for my entire face, then blend with a slightly damp beauty blender. I have a hard time taking this off at night, and recommend Estee Lauder Take It Away Makeup Remover Lotion and a microfiber makeup eraser. I love this dupe from Amazon (comes in a pack of 4).

To lock everything in I will always reach for Urban Decay All-Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, grab this 2-pack here.
