I love “What’s in my bag” posts (i’m nosy like that) and all the trash, half used lipsticks, and 8 month old CVS receipts that come with it. If you show me well used products that you keep on you at all times, of course I am going to trust your opinion! I also love to see all the weird things people carry around with them so I don’t feel bad about mine 😂. Sharing on the blog today what I like to keep in my pool/beach bag including two spfs, portable waterproof speaker, face wipes that help keep allergies at bay, and a few snaps from my beach trip!

*ZYRTEC® Soothing Face Wipes with Micellar Water
What it is: Soothing face wipes with micellar water claiming to instantly remove particles as small as pollen, dust, dirt and other impurities.
What I think: The cloth itself is very soft and did not feel rough around the eye area. Great compact cleansing wipes perfect for a quick refresh on the go. I have eczema and sensitive skin and did not experience any irritation. Can’t wait to see these roll out into more stores.
Essie Gel Couture Polish In Rock the Runway
What it is: At-home gel manicure that boasts long wear and easy to apply nail polish.
What I think: I always keep nail polish in the pool bag for touch-ups and it’s usually my toes/nails color as I use the same one for each. I only wear neutral colors nowadays and stick to the blue toned reds and white pinks. Essie kicks it out of the park with these polishes and the wear time is well over a week on my nails and the polish never comes off my toes until I remove it myself. 10/10!
Waterproof speaker
What it is: Rugged Portable Waterproof Snowproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, Built-in QI Wireless Charging, Illuminating LED Lights
What I think: My exact version is no longer sold, so I am linking the updated waterproof speaker version. Great sound quality, holds a charge all day at the beach, and love the handle so I don’t have to lay it in the sand. Sand does stick to it, so it’s a little annoying trying to remove it from all the crevices. Haven’t had the chance to test it in water or snow.
Avene Thermal Spring Water
What it is: Thermal spring water in a spray can
What I think: This product is so unnecessary but darnit’ I love it. It really is water in a can, but it feels so so good when you are hot, sticky, and irritable. I wipe my face clean with my pool towel and spray a few spritz on my face and neck. No added skincare benefits I see, a nice poolside pick-me-up.
REN Clean Skincare Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30
What it is: According to REN Skincare, this sunscreen boasts “silicone-free, mattifying mineral SPF 30 made with 22% zinc oxide and without oxybenzone for broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Vegan. Cruelty-free.”
What I think: Very thick SPF for face which I love! This is a matte finish like it promises, with a white cast on the face (not my fave). This stuff does not budge at all and I was in and out of the water all day with minimal touch ups. With high staying power comes the difficulty to remove the SPF at the end of a long day by the water. I wouldn’t wear this under makeup, but is great if you know you will be highly active and need a long lasting SPF. Will most definitely repurchase.
*Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Sunscreen Broad Spectrum Face Lotion SPF 60
What it is: Lightweight moisturizing sunscreen with SPF 60. According to Aveeno this sunscreen is “made with nourishing prebiotic oat, the daily facial sunscreen deeply hydrates skin all day, leaving it feeling soft and moisturized.”
What I think: Great moisturizing sunscreen perfect for wearing under makeup. I reapplied multiple times throughout the day while on the beach, so the staying power isn’t that great. No white cast and the product is very sheer. I would repurchase again. This product also boasts not using theoxybenzone ingredient.
Durable Beach Bag
What it is: Rugged, sturdy, and easy to clean washable bag
What I think: I have a very similar design that is no longer in production, but the Bogg Bag I mention here is a hot commodity and always sold out, and for good reason! It’s huge, lightweight, washable, and comes in a ton of cute colors. Made out of the same material you might recognize from a hugely popular shoe brand with holes, the bags are so easy to hose down after a spill or sand caught in the bottom. If you see one grab it quick, they sell out quickly.
Insulated Tumbler
What it is: Double walled, stainless steel and dishwasher safe insulated tumbler perfect for hot summer days and ice cold drinks.
What I think: Keeps my drinks cold all day and I sometimes find ice still in the tumbler the next day. I love Yeti brand and will continue to purchase. I have used every and all dupes, but I always come back to the original.
Trucker Hat
What I think: I love the trucker hat style and think it’s so cute when you pair the masculine hat with a cute feminine graphic. You can pick these surfer inspired trucker hats on Amazon.
Sunglasses
What I think: Tortoise shell is my go-to sunglass print and bonus points if they are a classic square style and polarized. I am unable to link my pair but linking similar here.
